Qualifications for the 2008 Area 3 Championships are:
  • Levels: Preliminary, Training, Novice, Beginner Novice
  • Divisions:
    • Preliminary Rider(CH): Horse and rider must qualify together. Rider may never have competed above Intermediate level within the previous 5 years (including the year of the championship).
    • Preliminary Horse(CH): Any rider. Horse may never have competed above Intermediate level.
    • Training Rider(CH): Horse and rider must qualify together. Rider may never have competed above Preliminary level within the previous 5 years (including the year of the championship).
    • Training Horse(CH): Any rider. Horse may never have competed above Preliminary level.
    • Novice Rider(CH): Horse and rider must qualify together. Rider may never have competed above Training level within the previous 5 years (including the year of the championship).
    • Novice Horse(CH): Any rider. Horse may never have competed above Training level.
    • Beginner Novice Rider(CH): Horse and rider must qualify together. Rider may never have competed above Novice level within the previous 5 years (including the year of the championship).
  • Qualify From/To: 23 May 2007 to 20 May 2008
  • Placing to Qualify: 1st thru 5th at One Event with No Cross Country Jump Penalities.
  • Qualify In: Any Area.
  • NOTES:
    1. No Cross Country Jump Penalties.
    2. It is the rider's obligation to keep up with placings out of the Area and include in qualifications section of entry form.
    3. Open to members of other Areas, but non-residents must qualify within Area III.
    4. Beginner Novice riders - do not have to be a USEA member at time of qualifying events, but must be a current USEA member to compete in the area championships.
    5. Also, see the Area Championships Policy in the Omnibus for the USEA requirements applying to all areas.
